The music scene of Tampere is very well-known mostly because of the local Glam Rock etc. Glitter bands. Luckily there are lots of great Metal bands bubbling underground such as Pofony, Medeia and the next newcomer, Kameleontti. Even though the roots of Kameleontti are already from the year 1998, but just for now these youngsters have obtained a possibility to climb out of the random Metal shitpile.

"Vähitellen Vaikenee" is a really catchy threesome, which surely can hold a grip of the listener's physical or mental balls from the beginning to the end. Ville Hakasalo's strong vocals work like toilet paper against diarrhea. Ville's awesome voice can hold all the roaring parts and clean clitches, which surely suites well for Kameleontti's musical line. It's always good to hear that there is still hope to find new talented singers in Finnish Metal business! Even though the vocals are pure honey and the band plays their role as they should - still I would like to have some of that legendary "something new" in the band's music. For now Kameleontti gets beaten up badly by such bands as Nicole and those other fellow acts mentioned before.

Still Kameleontti has a lot of potential, which should be leashed for much bigger operations. Hopefully the guys will have enough time to rearrange their musical lines and start doing some serious knocking on record companies' doors, because they're not here for just having fun, they are looking for some serious business.

7 / 10
