Presenting the debut release "Ghosts", Helsinki-based Metal crew Phantom Of An Inamorata is up and running since only 2011. "Ghosts" is a very welcome contribution to the scene. Simplemindedly Phantom Of An Inamorata's music can be described as good old American style Death / Metalcore, but this doesn’t do justice for the release. The Horror scheme works incredibly well and each of the demo's four songs is well constructed. Melodic guitars and symphonic elements place you to the center of a horror story – which is the best thing about this band.

"Ghosts" presents almost a ready-made package. The producing and mixing are from the top shelf of the demo world, and the playing is carried out with style. The effort put in is visible and definitely worth it. It is nice to see bands bringing out new ideas with balls. Now just waiting for the phone to start ringing?
