Three years have passed and once again you can hear rumbling hailing from Lahti, for these Grind veterans who have already grinded for twenty years are still spreading their "Porn Death Grind" message with the latest fifth full-length album called "No Sperm Shall Be Spared". Therefore the preaching continues with shedding the sex&gore which has proven to be a good thing, like its predecessor.
Enthrope - Tomorrow's Dead Days (06/2010)
![]() On June 2nd 2010 Finnish newcomer Enthrope finally released its first album "Tomorrow's Dead Days". Considering the band's year of birth -2006- the word finally may be inappropriate, because the five guys from Helsinki show quite a straight career. But Enthrope's previous demos, especially "Silenced Earth" from 2008 made extremely hungry for more and proved that they really deserve a record deal. Supernova now realized the high potential and gave way for six new songs and place for three old ones ("Cloud Six", "End It All" and "Stars Of Nhagrad"). Negative - Neon (06/2010)
![]() There is this phenomenon, called americanization, as all of us know. Sound- and image-wise, it also happened to some Finnish bands - which in this process significantly changed their style. The most striking example might be HIM, the ultimate Finnish Rock band of our time. Many who adore their old Goth Metal shit blame the guys for the lighter, poppier sound that was established by albums such as "Dark Light" (2005) and the latest one, "Screamworks" (2010) – both recorded in the mythical city of Los Angeles. |
